YOUR ARMY CAREER IN LAHURE TRAINING CENTRE
  1. Before you join our centre, we will examine that you are fit or unfit for an army candidate.
  2. Physical Fitness Training will be trained by Experienced and skillfull Physical Training Instructor(PTI)
  3. Education part will be teached by well experienced and highly qualified teacher.
  4. Other relevant to the subject consultant will be fiven by Ex-British Army and Singapore Police Officers who has deprth knowledge about recruting system.
  5. The medical test will be given more prior for the selection according to the candidates defect
  6. Sport activities will also be held during the laser time for example: swimming, soccer etc
  7. Trainers who are away for their houses, will be provided hostel (Fooding and Lodging) with proper diet

British Gurkha Army

The history of the service of the Brigade of Gurkhas to the British Crown goes back as far as 1815. Since then the Brigade has conducted itself with distinction during numerous conflicts worldwide. Prior to 1997 the Brigade's focus was in the Far East but following the handover of Hong Kong it moved to the UK which is now its base.Selection is open once a a year at British Gurkha Army Camp Pokhara and Dharan Nepal. Only Nepalese youth from every part of Nepal and from every cast can apply.

Qualification
  • Basic Physical
    • Height : Minimum 158cm
    • BMI between 18-28
    • Eye glasses contact lenses/Laser surgery not accepted
    • Physique: Physical abnormal will not be accepted
    • Teeth: No more that two filling or one false tooth or gap,front false teeth will not be accepted
    • Sick and individual PR who is suffering from transferable diseases will not be accepted

  • Documents Required
    • Nepali Citizenship (NPP) of applicant and their parents
    • SLC / SEE passed documents
    • Machine Readable Passport

Singapore Police Force

The Gurkha Contingent is a line department of the Singapore Police Force consisting primarily of Gurkhas from Nepal. Members of the GC are trained to be highly skilled and are selected for their display of strong discipline and dedication in their tasks. The principal role of the contingent is to be a special guard force, and it is currently used as a counter-terrorist force. Open once a time in a year at British Gurkha Army Camp Pokhara and Dharan Nepal. Only Nepalese youth from every part of Nepal and from every cast can apply.
